Unless a federal funding bill is passed before the deadline of September 30 the government will shut down. Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy has proposed a possible “Continuing Resolution” to prevent a complete government shutdown.

A Continuing Resolution is a short-term spending bill. This type of short-term solution is very common. However, it led to the $1.7 trillion bill Omnibus Bill of 2022. This "solution" can NOT become commonplace.

With tax-payer money on the line, the chance of a CR has created disagreements in both the House and Senate. Some members want to maintain the current grossly bloated spending levels. Whereas the House Freedom Caucus is demanding spending be rained in.

Democrats and RINO’s in Congress have voted to keep funding the weaponization of the Department of Justice, the WOKE agenda at the Department of Defense, an open border, COVID tyranny and more that is harmful to the American people. Democrats are still acting and spending like they were in the bloated COVID-era.

The House Freedom Caucus (HFC) has taken a stand to put American citizens back at the top of Congress’s priority list. The HFC does not want to continue spending at the rate the Democrats have been and wants reform going into the next Fiscal year.
